2 TIMOTHY 1:1-7
Verse 6-7: “Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
Cowardliness and timidity to perform our work and office, in God or secular is not good. Don’t be lifeless and indifferent in your mannerism. We do not fear men, we do not fear persecution. We do not dear failure, we do not fear devils. But God has given us the power of the Spirit (Luke 24:47-49), to do the work we are to do.
He has given us sound mind and/or self-discipline (self-control). What you don’t control, will control you.
As a destiny changer, being of sound mind, conviction and principles it’s of the highest priority. Stir up the gift. Be steadfast in developing them.
There’s hope for a tree that is cut down to grow again. If you lost anything never you lose your mind. Put it to work. Develop it with the right decision and wait upon the Lord. Miracles are God’s ways of building hopes that He cares about you.
